Kahrizak Nursing Home was founded by Dr. Mohammad Reza Hakimzadeh to care for physically handicapped and elderly individuals with no financial resources, free of charge. In year 1973, on the land of the present nursing home with an area 28000 square meters donated by the late Haj Hassan Mohammadi, the elderly nursing home's construction started. Today this place, with an area of 420000 square meters, and after having constructed beautiful multi-purpose buildings with separate units for men and women, workshops, physiotherapy unit, MS patients building, gym, lawns, fountains and so on offers services to all the underfinanced.
