Now a days, great manufactures are handling the tomato processing and presenting various tomato products such as dried, paste, peeled and different sauces like ketchup, powders and tomato juice. Sauces are considered as one of the expletive components of almost all processed foods and salads and is included in majority of peoples shopping list.  We can name few sauces here for instance: Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard and soya sauce.

Different type of oral sauces have been in almost all the Iranian shopping carts since the last 10 years. Unlike the past, peoples view have changed as being of the main condiments which must be served with specific foods. They don’t see these products as an unnecessary or a decorative item any more.

Ketchup is known as either ketchup sauce or red sauce. Nearly 77% of urbanite population is forced to use ketchup. 27% of this population are high consumers, 44% are average consumers and 29% are the low consumers.

There are various kinds of ketchup in the market and based on the feedback given, simple ketchup has dedicated the highest consuming rate to its self.

There is a correlation between the social class and ketchup usage. The higher is the social class the higher goes the probability of ketchup usage. Different brands have different consumers. For instance, the major consumers of Kaleh and Mahram brands are social class AB.

Our country’s Food industry factories in all these years, has produced and distributed different kinds of sauces in to market as well as interning this food product into Iranians kitchen.  People being welcoming towards this product, shows the producers regardless to its foreign ingredient and formula, have successfully customized it Iranian relish. The first sauce factory in Iran was built in 1351. Over the past few years, the number of such factories and Iranian sauce brands have be growing day by day and valid brands such as YEK O YEK, MAHRAM, BEHROOZ, TABRIK, OROMADA, DELPAZIR, DELOSH, KALEH, SAHAR, KAMBIZ, MAHRAM, MAJID, NARNI, PICHAK and many more are entering the market with delicious sauces.
